As a licensing sales specialist at Altaris Cloud, you would be responsible for a select account list. The right candidate is extremely responsive and can meet the strict SLA’s we have in place with our SMB to Enterprise clients. Services would include pre-sales support, licensing guidance and the ability to document and justify licensing positions. Other responsibilities include the ability to run modern SAM (Software Asset Management) tools to ensure our clients are 99%+ compliant. The successful candidate would have experience leveraging Movere, Octopus, MAP tool and others. Understanding of Hybrid (on-premise and public cloud) environments is essential as well as SPLA, CSP, Volume license and Enterprise licensing.

We are looking for the smart, curious and bold individuals out there who understands Software Asset management across multiple vendors, including Microsoft, WMWare, etc (willing to train where there are gaps). A self-starter, the ideal candidate will understand their client’s business goals, and go beyond asset management and provide business guidance: how to optimize and lower licensing costs, through regular analysis of the client’s IT environment, how to meter and provide a TCO for workloads that might be better served running in the public cloud. You become the trusted advisor to the business and leverage the Software Optimization Model to take our clients to a fully mature state.

Key Experiences: 5+ years of sales and negotiation experience. Seasoned sales and negotiation professional, unafraid of conflict. Positive attitude and a passion for working with customers and partners. Comfortable speaking at all organizational levels, from the CxO to the procurement/purchasing teams. Able to explain complex solutions; skilled at simplifying the complex. Strategic, long-term thinker able to analyze data to identify trends, risks and opportunities. Team player and collaborative.
